Job Description

Our department within Electrical & Automation at AFRY is currently a team of 25 colleagues based in Jönköping. We work with everything from electrical design, programming, risk assessments within machine safety, project management, and electrical inspections. As an electrical designer with us, you will work on electrical design assignments with a focus on the manufacturing industry and local customers.

The role will involve electrical design as well as associated documentation and follow-up in close collaboration with colleagues and customers. In some assignments, security-classified tasks may occur, now or in the future.

The group consists of knowledgeable and engaged colleagues where experience and knowledge sharing is a strong part of the culture. You will also receive support from three senior designers in your daily work.

We primarily work in a project format and collaborate with colleagues in other geographies and technical areas. AFRY consists of a fantastic world of engineering competence in a variety of areas. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we believe you are motivated to work in a challenging and dynamic work environment and are solution-oriented and proactive in what you undertake. That said, we know that we need to create the right conditions for this together, which is why we also value your collaboration and communication skills as well as your initiative.

To fit into the role with us, we believe you have:

• At least 2 years of experience as an electrical designer and good social competence.
• Knowledge in electrical design.
• System proficiency: good computer skills and industry experience.
• Relevant education from university, university college, or equivalent experience.
• Language skills: Swedish at native level and good English in speech and writing; German is an asset.

It is an asset if you have:

• Advanced knowledge in electrical design.
• Education in automation or similar.
